Neighbours legend exits as three Ramsay Street locals are placed in grave danger
Yaz Shields (Chrishell Stause) closes in on prisoner Tess Carmichael (Anica Calida) in Neighbours next week, in a further bid to target Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall).
The Amazon Prime Video soap newcomer firmly believes that the Ramsay Street resident is responsible for her brother Heath’s (Ethan Panizza) death and clearly won’t stop until she is served justice.
She’s even put on a false façade with Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson), who is under the impression that they have something special together.
There’s fresh heartbreak for Cara and Remi Varga-Murphy (Sara West and Naomi Rukavina) which threatens to drive a wedge through their cosy family dynamic, and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) heads off for a journey into the unknown in the search for Seb Metcalfe (Rarmian Newton).
Realising that he could be in grave danger, his dad Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) are hot on his heels.
Elsewhere, one iconic local hears distressing news about a loved one and jets off to be by their side in an hour of need, whilst Max Ramsay’s (Ben Jackson) treatment of Sadie Rodwell (Emerald Chan) is finally realised by her boyfriend Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux).
With Christmas fast approaching, Neighbours are ramping up the action ahead of their epic season finale in the penultimate week of Erinsborough drama.
Luckily for you, I’ve got all the goss from down under…
Monday, December 9
Nicolette ponders whether she overstepped the mark with Yaz by talking about her exes when she notices she’s actively avoiding her.
After some much-needed advice from Aaron, Nic heads to her hotel room with some treats to see if she’d be up for another date – but she doesn’t answer the door.
Following the news that the council won’t renewing the lease on the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation’s space at the community centre, the residents gather together to find a solution. Paul freezes up when he sees a renewed closeness between Toadie and Terese.
He’s not the only one with curiosities about Terese – both Jane and Susan have clocked that she’s been rekindling with Paul.
Elsewhere, Cara struggles to accept that she’ll never be able to have another child following her full hysterectomy. Remi tries her best to nurse her post-surgery, but she’s fiery and short-fused and won’t allow her to.
When Cara spots JJ kissing Nell in the house, she lashes out and more friction is caused in the family dynamic. Remi is frank and tells her she won’t stand for her behaviour any longer if its going to jeopardise their future.
She breaks down, releasing all of her anguish attached to her accident and infertility. During an emotional conversation, she asks whether Remi would consider carrying a baby.
Remi is stunned and says she’s not up for it – she was fine when Cara wanted to, but being pregnant is not something she is willing to do.

Susan learns that Karl has been badly injured on the bike trip with Mike in Italy. As he’s rushed into surgery to mend his badly broken leg, her loved ones encourage her to fly to Europe to be by his side.
After noticing that she feels uncomfortable leaving the Eirini Rising residents without someone in charge, Terese forms a plan to be reinstated as general manager.
Paul, Toadie and Harold put their heads together to think up a solution, but with time against them, Terese rallies the retirement community together so that she can make an emotional bid to them.
She argues that Susan and Karl have done nothing but care for them all, and it’s now their turn to repay the favour. Moira is strongly against the suggestion following her struggles with alcoholism, but Terese’s friends promise that she has turned over a new leaf.
Relieved that she can now jet off, Susan hands over the keys and is proud to see her friend pull herself back from the edge.
Beneath the surface, a romantic tension simmers between Paul and Terese…
Elsewhere, Yaz shows a video of Heath she’s discovered to a senior investigator in the hope she can see Holly’s brought down for her involvement in her brother’s death.
As the detective looks into it, Yaz struggles to contain her grief-driven rage towards Holly. She’s later taken aback to hear that there is little the police can do to reopen the case.
After lashing out, she heads to the prison under the guise of a lawyer, using the pseudonym Leah Curtain. There, she meets up with Tess Carmichael – Heath’s coconspirator in his crimes.
Down on Ramsay Street and following Remi’s bombshell, Cara is in disbelief. Despite a shared compassion for each other’s perspective, there is an immensely awkward distance between the wives.
Remi is supported by Aaron, whilst Dex notices Cara is upset. He notes that there is so much affection between his parents, and they’d be wrong to let that go.
Boosted by their son’s words, the women return to each other and restore their love and tenderness. The idea of moving forward without a child is now crystal clear, and Cara discards the antique high-chair that she was restoring for the baby.

Sadie tries to avoid Max – despite living under the same roof – but those hopes have to be sidelined when he offers Byron free tickets to a dance event.
Byron, blissfully unaware, believes that it his way of trying to smooth out the rough time they’ve had at the share house so far. Sadie decides to confront Max, and orders him to shut down the event and to stop playing games with her.
He’s eager to go ahead, and she makes it clear how awkward he’s made things for her. Max tries to emotionally blackmail her, claiming it was only because she came forward with the idea that he was forced to admit his feelings.
Their argument is then interrupted by a gobsmacked Byron, who has overheard everything!
Elsewhere, Leo and Krista’s relationship is on the rocks following his admission that he drove Seb out of Erinsborough. She’s still stressed after being unable to make contact, and lying to Leo about coughing up cash for her best pal.
Leo thinks the only way he can improve things is to find Seb himself, and hires private investigator John Wong to track him down.
Little does he realise, Krista has received another message asking for more money. She confides in Byron that she doesn’t know whether he’s really in trouble or just ripping her off.
Guilt-ridden, she confesses everything to Leo and whilst he’s initially upset, some advice from Aaron convinces him to speak with his girlfriend. He realises that he can’t treat people in the same way his dad has done, multiple times over.
Krista comes to the conclusion that she’s not going to send any more cash over, and with everything out in the open – except for John Wong’s involvement – they are back on track.
At the prison, Yaz continues to pretend to be a legal eagle called Leah and tells Tess that she’s representing Heath’s family, who are looking for closure after his untimely death in the jaws of a crocodile.
Tess agrees to give her account of what happened in the outback, with the conversation soon steering towards Holly, who ‘the family’ believe was responsible.
When their chat turns sour, with Tess questioning her motives for reopening the case, Yaz says she might be able to arrange for her to transfer to a US prison where she can be closer to her elderly parents.
With interest now piqued, it seems Yaz’s scheme is going perfectly.
Thursday, December 12
Byron is supportive towards Sadie’s troubles about Max, and when she admits that she doesn’t feel like she can live with him any longer, they tell him he must move out.
Max is resistant, but after noticing how uneasy he makes Sadie feel, agrees to leave.
Krista gets wind from Tess that Heath’s family have hired a lawyer to target Holly and look further into the outback saga. Byron urges her to tell Holly, who soon spirals again.
Not realising that Yaz is the fake lawyer, she breaks down and tells her that she’s seeing a therapist.
The information is thrilling for her to hear.
Later, Nic runs into Yaz and there’s clear chemistry between the two. Nicolette lays her cards on the table and says she wants to give things a go – and Yaz agrees!
She’s soon brought back down to earth when Tess’ lawyer blocks any further prison visits.
At Eirini Rising, Terese is on cloud nine to be back in the fold and is particularly grateful to Paul and Toadie for helping her get there. She even suggests that she and Toadie are on the right path to becoming friends again.
Elsewhere, John Wong tracks Seb down to Winterton and Paul is concerned to hear that Leo is planning to head there and bring him back to the suburb.
